FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS....
1. Do I have to order food for the whole week every week? NO.
You may order food as many days per week as you would like if you are a member (meaning you have purchased a one year membership ) and have a membership card with a membership number. This also entitles you to free delivery and single servings from Fab Food Now when available.
2. What are the benefits of being a member? THERE ARE LOTS OF THEM.
1. You get free delivery for one year
2. You get the weekly lunch price of $59 to get lunch ALL 5 DAYS OF THE WEEK.
3. You may get lunch on single days ahead of time, by going to the web, for only $12.50 per day.
4. If you have not pre-ordered lunch for the week, and you walk into the cafe, and there are extra lunches available that day, you will be able to get them for $12.50
5. You own your bambooware and/or glassware depending on your membership level.
6. You get special discounts and coupons throughout the year that will be worth way more than the $79.00 price of membership, if you are a founding or a gold member.
3. Just because I am a member am I under a contract? NO.
Being a member gives you benefits but not restrictions. You are entitled to $59 a week lunches, but you are free to order as many or as few lunches per week during the year as you would like.
4. Can anyone just CALL the store and order at any time? Yes, and No. Meaning, that YES you can call the store at any time and order a single meal, but there is NO way of knowing if one will be available.... If you are not a member, the meal will cost $15.00, and if you are a member the meal will cost $12.50, and members have priority. However, there are no guarantees on any given day that extra meals will be available, as all fresh food goes out to members meals who order one week in advance first. :)
5. Can I order lunch for dinner? Absolutely.
We have several members already who are planning to pick up their food at the cafe around 4pm each day and take it home to eat it later on for dinner. Not a problem!!
6. What can I buy at Fab Food Now other than lunch?
Tea ( special herbal teas from around the world are offered )
Tea ware & Tea tins ( tea cups and saucers from around the world for sipping
tea there or for taking away with you to wherever you are going in style! )
Herbs and Herbal Formulas ( the natural way to cure what ails you )
Homeopathics ( a great way to get well without the use of drugs )
Herbal Bath Salts , Essential Oils and Diffusers for home use
Gift Sets - Including Bath Salts, Teas, and Therapy Service Gift Certificates ( ( ( (including massage and sinus treatments)
7. If I ordered lunch for the whole week last Friday and then I find that I need to change and not eat on Wednesday the next week, what can I do? Unfortunately, once you turn in your numbers a week ahead, your food is bought and prep work is started. Your best bet is to sell your lunch that day to a friend at work...and don't forget that if you get 5 friends to become members, you will get ONE WEEK OF LUNCH FREE YOURSELF!!
8. If I want to ADD A DAY OF LUNCH the next week can I do that the day before?
YES - But only if you call before NOON 24 hours before the day you want the lunch- as they have to make sure the chef has fresh ingredients to accomodate your request. For instance, if you want lunch on Wednesday, and you had only signed up for Monday and Friday, you can add lunch Wednesday up until Tuesday night at 5pm. This is because we will probably have to have time to go to the farmer or the store and buy more produce, and we need to adjust our recipe amounts- -- as we only buy ahead for our members for the week...Thiis is the only way to keep the cost down.
9. Do you use only fresh ingredients?YES whenever it is possible. For sure we make all our dressings from scratch (That way you can say NO to msg, sodium benzoate, and propylene glycol - all common ingredients of store bought dressings) - and we do not buy any prepackaged boxed foods. All of our food is made from scratch, and we buy locally whenever possible.
